The certificate program is based on the School Education Law, and is a special program of study for working adults. Upon completion of the program, students receive a certificate of completion based on the School Education Law.

Social co-creation creator training course – practice! How to see and research society

Outline Taking advantage of the characteristics of the Faculty of Social Co-Creation, which has a wide range of expertise, we will teach the collection and analysis of data that can be used in practice in society, learn from practical cases, collect and analyze data and collect case studies by students, Plan and present activities based on issues, and support the progress and deepening of social activities.
Completion Requirements Students must complete 60 hours or more of lectures, present an activity proposal as a voluntary assignment, and pass the examination.

Forest Environmental Management Studies Recurrent Program (Comprehensive Program)

Outline To find new business opportunities in forest management, to develop skills and abilities to promote regional development with forests as a resource for the future, and to develop human resources involved in the guidance and operation of the “new forest management system” started in FY2011 in accordance with the Forest Management Control Law.
Completion Requirements

Students must take all courses in each program and complete all three programs.

Team School Specialist Training Program

Social Infrastructure Maintenance Expert Training Course

Outline Develop social infrastructure maintenance experts (MEs) as human resources who can acquire planning, design, and implementation techniques for the development of new social infrastructure and the maintenance, management, and repair of existing social infrastructure, and who can contribute to the revitalization of the community.
Completion Requirements Attend all of the 121.5 hours of total class time. Furthermore, certification of the Shikoku Social Infrastructure Maintenance Expert qualification requires passing a written test (selective test) and an essay/presentation test.

Citrus Industry Human Resource Development Program

Outline To develop human resources with the ability to contribute to the promotion of citrus agriculture in Ehime and a wide range of related industries including citrus processing and distribution.

Regional Innovation Innovator Training Program (Toyo)

Outline

Respond to issues that require drastic transformation of business, administration, and social activities such as Society 5.0/DX, carbon neutrality, regional innovation, and resilience, and create new businesses, products, services, and science and technology through innovation. Develop “social innovators” who specialize in regional areas.The theme for FY2023 is “Building a Circular Economy”.

Completion Requirements Complete all 72 hours of lecture topics (including project research presentations) offered in this program and pass the project research review.

Regional Innovation Innovator Training Program (Nanyo)

Outline The program is designed to provide students with (1) a deep understanding of the current status and issues of “regions and local areas” in Japan, using Ehime Prefecture and the Nanyo region as examples; (2) knowledge and skills in approaches from various fields for solving issues; and (3) experience in the process of proposing solutions to specific issues. Acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for human resources who can contribute to “regional development”.
Completion Requirements Take 24 hours or more of Stage I classes (18 hours of compulsory subjects, 6 hours or more of electives), 24 hours or more of Stage II classes, and 12 hours of Stage III classes, for a total of 60 hours or more. and pass the project research review.

Japanese Language Study Program

Outline This is a group of non-credit classes offered by the Organization for Promotion of International Collaboration (Center for International Education Support) in the Japanese Language Education Program for International Students, which are also offered to external parties, and in principle, the classes are held according to the schedule of classes at the University. Students will take a Japanese level check in advance, and then study Japanese in the class of the appropriate level.
Completion Requirements The student must have passed the course and final judgment, and the class must have reached a minimum of 60 hours under the criteria in the attached table, and the student must have passed one of the “advanced” classes specified in the attached table.
